Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
We are very proud of the work we do at Scargill with our SEND pupils. On this page we will try to give you some information about the work we do and answer some of your questions. Please click on the questions below and you will be able to access a linked page with the answer to the question. Please feel free to contact one of our SENCOs if you have any further questions and they will try to help as much as they can.
There are four main areas of SEN as identified in the SEN Code of Practice. These are:
- Cognition and Learning
- Communication and Interaction
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
- Physical/Sensory Impairment.
