In the case of bad weather (ie snow) the school may ned to be closed.  This will only be done if one of the two things below apply:

1)  The school site is not safe or accessible for our children.

2)   It has proved impossible for us to staff the school to an appropriate level.

In the case of a school closure then we will communicate this to you in a number of ways including: sending a text,  posting on twitter and posting an emergency message on the school website.

As a school we discourage children taking term time holidays as this can have a detrimental effect on their learning.  All term time holidays will be treated as unauthorised unless the circumstances are deemed as exceptional.

In some cases, where the previous attendance of the pupil is below average the school has the right to impose a penalty notice.  Please contact the school office for more information.

If you would like to express your opinion about the school then this can be done on the PARENT VIEW website.
